About Kodi

Before coming to Development, Kodi was Assistant Professor in Residence at the University of Connecticut [UConn], where he taught the University's first online journalism courses. He also developed and taught the first online journalism courses at the United States International University- Nairobi [USIU].

Kodi was a journalist for 15 years. He has published in the Christian Science Monitor, nyc24.com, the Daily Nation and The Standard. He was deputy editor of a Kenyan religious monthly, The Seed, where he still writes a column. He was also an international correspondent for Catholic News Service in Washington, DC. He has reported from all eight provinces in Kenya; New York City; Fribourg, Switzerland; Moscow and; Kazan, Tatarstan. He is the author of Enneagram, a Popular Approach to Personality, published by The Seed and sold at the Catholic Bookshop, Nairobi. He is the English editor of Media Training in Africa, the Art of Publishing a Newspaper, published by Pauline Publications-Africa.
